MCTC STEM Fair

Stars in the Cafeteria! Helicopters flying through hair! Trains floating through the air! Neanderthals in the Dining Room! Forensics solved the crime! Platonic solids!

The Planetarium’s ExploraDome will be at MCTC, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Take a 20 minute virtual tour of the universe!

The STEM Fair is a one-day showcase of scientific knowledge and its applications through technology and arts, organized by the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines and student clubs. Students and faculty will:

  • Demonstrate their projects from class rooms and student clubs
  • Display highlights of scientific discoveries
  • Demonstrate present-day and future technological applications (forensics, trains, airplanes)
  • Introduce new technologies for the classroom
  • Distribute free plants
