Jason has twenty years of experience in a number of fields including financial services, marketing, and accounting.  He’s worked in large corporate environments, professional service firms, and small business start-ups.  Currently, he is teaching full time and renting property in south Minneapolis.  His background helps him advise students on what career, what industry and what environment might interest them.

Jason strives to make the classroom an enjoyable experience.  Classes are designed to be engaging, motivating, and most importantly, helpful.  He feels the majority of classroom learning should be something that can be applied to your professional and/or personal lives.  He has eight years of teaching experience at the post-secondary, K-12, and corporate levels on a number of subjects including business, accounting, and mathematics.  He holds his MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, his BA from Middlebury College in Vermont, and his CPA license.

His interests are anything active – playing basketball or tennis, cooking an elaborate Thai meal, or biking across Europe.  He has done several triathlons and once, in error, signed up for two in one weekend.  He did both of them.  A favorite recent trip was two weeks in Morocco. When he has extra time, he loves studying Spanish to the delight of his Andalucian wife.
